● Lion's abroad over the past weekend recorded some successes in their club participation, though a significant impact of these successes has been orchestrated by team work.
The 23rd day of play of the French division one league last Saturday February 2nd 2013, saw Rennes Football Club of Jean II Makoun and Jean Armel Kana-Biyik continue to trail on their game against FC Lorient as they desperately succeeded in pulling a 2-2 draw at the 90th minute from Ngando (one of the youngest footballers) who made his first debut in French ligue 1.

Valenciennes of Aboubakar Vincent (came on at the 81st minute) and Gaetang Bong (not in the line-up) suffered another 0 to 2 defeat from Girondins Bordeaux of Landry Nguemo at Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux. At home, Lille OSC of Aurelien Chedjou also fought hard to pull a 1-1 draw at the 74th minute from visiting ES Troyes AC.
Montpellier HSC of Henri Bedimo defeated FC Sochaux by 2-0. The creeping team of ligue 1, AS Nancy of Ndy Assembé (on reserve), Moukandjo (came on at the 86th minute) and Alo'o Efoulou (came off at the 86th minute) surprisingly defeated Olympique Marseille by 1-0. Sane's curtain raiser at the 49th minute of the second half finally ended as the lone goal scored during the entire game.
In the Spanish La Liga, Valencia CF held Spanish league leaders FC Barcelona of Alex Song (on reserve) on the 22nd day of play to a 1-1 draw. Barca's lone goal was scored through a penalty executed by Messi at the 39th minute of play. At home, Málaga CF of Idris Carlos Kameni (on reserve) and Fabrice Olinga (not in the line-up) was forced to a 1-1 tie by Real Zaragoza.
The English premier league entered its 25th day of play last Saturday February 2, 2013, with creeping Queens Park Rangers (QPR) of Stephane Mbia pulling a virgin draw (0-0) with Norwich City of Sebastien Bassong. In a hotly contested game, Tottenham Hotspur of Benoit Assou Ekotto forcefully defeated West Bromwich Albion by 1-0.
Day 17 of the Portuguese league did not seem promising to Vitória Setúbal of Albert Meyon Ze, as they were seriously beaten by an excellent Benfica by 0-3.
Things did not go well with Schalke 04 of Jöel Matip on the 20th day play in the German division 1 league (Bundes Liga) as they lost their game at home against Greuther Fürth by 1 goal to 2.
